Thinking about your Research Data Management Plan (English)
This workshop for PhD candidates will give a brief introduction to what is meant by "data" . In addition it will outline the crucial importance of a solid data management plan. If you start your Ph.D. project with a good data management plan, and think ahead, it will save you a lot of time and headaches in the course of your research – and afterwards!
Approximately half of the workshop will be theory after which you will have the opportunity to make a first draft of your very own data management plan. This is not a technical course on how to store data or use the existing database infrastructure. Instead, it is meant to alert you to the steps you need to take to come to a good data management plan.
Looking forward to seeing you!
