Language:
Dutch or English, depending on the participants.
Description:
The UMCG is encouraging all researcher to make, register and use an ORCID iD.
ORCID is: Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier. ORCID iD is a 16-digit unique identifier, free to register. ORCID is used around the world by Publishers Research organisations Funder.
An ORCID is not just “a new profile that you have to manage”, it can actually save you a lot of time when publishing, applying for funding or when changing institution. Because you can link your ORCID to Pure, your ORCID profile will be automatically filled with your research output from Pure.
In this webinar we will go over what ORCID is and what the benefits are. There will also be a practical part where we will show you how to create an ORCID, how to link it to Pure and how to use an ORCID to your advantage.
